COLLEGE BASKETBALL Picks Powered by a Data-Driven Betting Model
College basketball offers one of the richest environments for finding betting edges -- a massive slate of games every night, wide variance in team quality, and a betting market that can be slower to adjust than NBA lines. Our NCAAB model is built to exploit exactly that. Every pick is chosen only when the model identifies a meaningful gap between our calculated probability and what the market is offering -- whether that's a spread, moneyline, or totals.
HOW THE NCAAB MODEL WORKS
With hundreds of Division I programs and games nearly every night from November through April, the NCAAB slate demands a model that can efficiently process volume while filtering for quality. Ours evaluates each matchup on team efficiency ratings, pace, road/home splits, rest, and historical ATS performance in specific situational spots. The model is particularly focused on identifying spots where public money has moved a line away from its fair value -- creating opportunities on the other side. Only picks that clear our confidence threshold make it to the page.
THE APPROACH
VOLUME CREATES OPPORTUNITY -- DISCIPLINE CREATES PROFIT
College basketball's sheer volume of games is both its biggest advantage and its biggest trap for bettors. There's always a game to bet -- which means there's always a temptation to force action. This model doesn't force anything. On nights where the model doesn't find clear value, no picks are posted. On nights with strong edges across multiple games, you'll see multiple picks -- but only because the model genuinely finds them, not to fill a quota.
The right approach to following these picks is the same as any EV+ discipline: consistent unit sizing, no chasing, and a commitment to the full season sample. The NCAAB season runs from November through April -- including March Madness, where the model applies the same process to tournament matchups as it does any regular season game.

Every NCAAB pick is posted with the game, bet type, odds, and units risked before tip-off. Results are entered the following morning. The season performance dashboard above reflects the complete, unfiltered record broken down by Fave Spread, Dog Spread, Fave ML, Dog ML, Over, and Under -- plus combined Spreads, Moneyline, and Totals tallies -- across last night, rolling 7 days, and the full season.
