Why In-Game Situational Data Is The Edge Most Bettors Ignore

Most baseball bettors focus on the line. This betting report focuses on what happens after first pitch. The live betting market moves fast and punishes anyone relying on vibes only -- but it consistently rewards bettors who know what teams actually do when they're leading after the 3rd inning, or what a starter's team record looks like when he exits trailing.

That's the data this report tracks. Every game in the database is tagged with situational outcomes: which team scored first, who led at each checkpoint (1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th), how many lead changes there were, and what the team's record was when the starting pitcher exited in each scenario. Updated daily which will provide hundreds of data points no sportsbook is surfacing for you.

How To Read The Five Report Tabs

Overview

Season-level ML, runline, and over/under records for every team. Good starting point for identifying teams that consistently outperform or underperform their opening line.

Checkpoints

Win rates by team when leading or trailing after the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th innings. If a team is 72% when leading after 5, that's a live bet signal worth knowing before the game.

Momentum

Scored-first records, comeback records, and lead change data. Some teams are genuinely better when playing from behind. Others collapse. The data shows which is which.

SP Exit

How a team's bullpen performs based on whether the start left leading, trailing, or tied -- and how deep into the game they exited. Crucial for late-game live betting.

Pitchers

Individual starter records broken down by the same situational categories. The team around a pitcher matters as much as the pitcher himself.

What Makes This Report Different

There are many other sports betting resources that all provide unique offerings such as Action Network's ATS record tracking. That's useful, but, in my opinion, is incomplete. What I've built here is deep-level tagging that will grow each season -- every lead change, every checkpoint, every starter exit -- turned into searchable betting records. I don't know another free public resource that presents this level of live betting context for MLB.

If you're betting live MLB regularly, this is the tab you should have open on your second screen.
